Attention Michigan Mafia and Midwest Flat Track racers: The new MISuperFlatTrack
Series kicks off in April!!
All events will be held at the centrally-located, state-of-the-art Jackson
Speedway with low entry fees
JACKSON, Mich. (February 18, 2010) – What is missing
in Michigan, the epicenter of the dirt track community? A series of practice and racing events at an established facility
that is affordable to the average enthusiast. Your wait is no longer. MISuperMoto and Jackson Speedway have recognized the
gap and are announcing the 2010 MISuperFlatTrack Series with both practice and race dates. This is the real deal with a dirt
oval at a state-of-the-art racing facility and a Pro-Am cash purse. This past fall, MISuperMoto
assembled some of the top pro flat trackers who live in Michigan to test the short track dirt oval at Jackson Speedway, which
is typically used for professional kart racing. The riders came away recommending to have a race there when the track held
up to the roaring and sliding bikes, and they were able to run 3-4 bikes wide. Besides hosting karting events, Jackson
Speedway also has hosted MISuperMoto Test & Tune Days for four years. The facility has transponder equipment, a professional
track crew and grooming equipment, and more importantly it’s easily accessible for riders from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana,
Illinois and Ontario sitting two miles south of I-94 in Jackson, only two hours from Detroit and four hours from Chicago. In 2009, the Jackson
Speedway owners updated the racing surface, making it fully capable of a flat track series. The surface has 15-inches of clay
base and 6-degrees of banking for a pool table smooth surface. The MISuperFlatTrack season will start with two practice rounds and then on June 13 the racing
series gets underway. The first practice is on April 25 with rider entry fee of $30 for unlimited track time. Crew and spectators
are free at every practice this year. The first race on June 13 will have eight classes, including Pro-Am with a cash purse
at each event. Racers will not have to pay for licenses, memberships, club dues and insurance. Racers who compete with MISuperFlatTrack
will pay a $35 entry fee (including transponder) for the first
class and $15 for each additional class at each event. It is clear the affordability of the MISuperFlatTrack series at Jackson
Speedway.

“I am very
excited about the new series at Jackson Speedway to support one of the largest contingents of dirt trackers of any state,”
said MISuperMoto’s Dave Duprey. “It is in a perfect location for all the Midwest dirt trackers. Jackson Speedway
has a premiere surface with great staff and a very knowledgeable track prep crew for smooth, fast surface that racers expect.
It’s liken to a national facility with the timing and scoring done with transponders both for practice sessions and
races. I am sure everyone that races with us in 2010 will have a great time!” -more-Page Two – The MISuperFlatTrack Series in Announced The
Midwest flat track community now has a permanent facility to practice and race at—without the long distance travel and
high costs of fees and dues associated at some other venues. MISuperMoto expects Jackson Speedway to be the favorite track
of racers in 2010. MISuperFlatTrack race class info will be available at the first practice of the year on Sunday, April 25.
